One of the first things we learnt in our fashion school lab (Yes, we wore lab coats & studied in ‘textile labs’!) was how to tell the difference between a fabric that is derived from nature and one that is man made. To make it really simple and fast forward a few lab tests & goggle selfies I will cut to the chase. Fabrics are either made from Plants (Natural ie Cotton, Linen, Ramie, Wool), Made from plastics (Man made ie Nylon, Polyester), or are a blend of both of these two.
Who better to let you in on the hot spots and must do's in a new area than a resident local? While I've visited Florida many many moons ago, I would say my time there resonated more with.... ah hem.... drinking too many mojito's and long sandy nights partying. And while South Beach is 100% the spot to drink, party, get up to mischief and nude midnight swims, I'm dying to go back and explore more of Florida (And see more in the daylight). We caught up with our lunacita Alden Easter and chatted all things Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving day is always full of delicious food, spending time with family, and traditions that have been passed down for years. In my family, we spend Thanksgiving all together and enjoy a relaxing day (usually full of a lot of football too!) I am here to highlight my favorite parts of thanksgiving and tell you how I like to celebrate Turkey day!
