We're pretty darn lucky to have an array of beautiful stores across Australia, New Zealand and the globe stocking our jewels, making it easier and more fun for you guys to shop our jewellery in person! Gyspsett Boutique, located in North Australia in Cairns is one of our lovely stockists, selling a selection of our jewels & scarves since way back and today we wanted to introduce Maria & the team to you and get to know a little more about this boho fashion piece of paradise!  

What is the story of how Gypsett came about? How did you come up with the concept!?

I had just moved back to Cairns after being away 10 years and felt there was a marketmissing. That boho luxe feel that everyone craves in a tropical destination.Our labels are collected for the gypsy at heart that still loves luxury.What are the coolest things we can find inside Gypsett?Besides Ash andI? LOL, a collection of all our favourite labels...And of course our Luna & Rose collections

How would you describe Gypsett's style in three words?

Unique, luxury, boho.

Who or what is your biggest inspiration for brands & pieces that you select to stock in store?

Honestly...We choose what we are passionate about and what suits our laid back tropical lifestyle.What is your favourite part about a day in the life of running a retail store? Making our customers smile and making them see themselves through our eyes...That they’re beautiful.Also,there has never been ONE DAY that i have not wanted to come to work.

What are the biggest challenges about running a retail space?

Having enough money to buy everything we love!

What is your favorite Luna & Rose piece & why? 

ST Christopher-i have always worn the patron saint for protection while travelling...But he protects people in many ways.

How do you love to style your jewellery?

Layered all the way!

Are you a Gold or Silver kinda human?

Why not be like the Old El Paso girl and have BOTH?

If we are in the area to visit your lovely store, what else could we do?!(To eat... or experience!) Great Barrier Reef, The Daintree Rainforest and if you are here on a Friday, I will shout you the best donuts ever!
